Research Focus: Research in the Nolan lab is focused on using quantitative measurement tools for the multiplexed and multiparameter measurement of cells and molecules. We integrate chemistry, nanoengineering, and instrument development to develop approaches that have a broad range of applications in biology and medicine. Our current biological targets include the antigen-specific immune responses to vaccination and infection, ligand-receptor interactions on and in cells, and cell-derived membrane vesicles that are shed and secreted from cells.
